After the last two exhausting games against Karolina Pliskova and Elena Rybakina, Jil had to give up with an adductor injury to her left thigh in the second set against Daria Kasatkina. With regard to the next big tournaments, Jil did not want to take any risks. She will cure them in the next few days to be fit again from the middle of next week at the French Open, which will take place from 16 May to 5 June 2022.
